The Magic Flute of Bora Dugic
Under the auspices of the Consulate General of the Republic of Serbia in Toronto, and in the organization of the "Academy of Serbian Folk Dancing Miroslav Bata Marcetic", Bora Dugic, a master on the traditional flute will be staring in Toronto. In his 37 year long career, he played hundreds of concerts around the World at prestigious concert halls such as The Sydney Opera, The Bucharest Atheneul, Royal Albert Hall and in major cities which include Paris, New York and Chicago, to name a few.
It was God's gift to give such a genius capable of making wonders and
creating masterpieces. There are many masters on the flute, but only
one makes true magic on his instrument and takes it to the highest
artistic level. Bora Dugic is the most productive composer of folk
flute music, and he plays on the instruments he builds on his own.
The concert will be held on May 13, 2007 at 7:30 at the Glen Gould Studio in Toronto.
