Serbian citizens in Canada will vote on Feb 02. 2008. , at two polling stations:
In Ottawa, at the Embasy of he Repulic of Serbia and
In Toronto, at the Consulate General o the Republic of Serbia
BELGRADE, Dec 31 (Tanjug) - The Republic Electoral Commission (RIK) confirmed late on Sunday the candidacy of nine candidates for the Serbian elections scheduled for January 20.
The candidacies that have been confirmed are those of Tomislav Nikolic (Serbian Radical Party), Cedomir Jovanovic (Liberal Democratic Party), Milutin Mrkonjic (Socialist Party of Serbia), Milanka Karic (Power for Serbia Movement - Bogoljub Karic), Istvan Pastor (Hungarian Coalition), Jugoslav Dobricanin (Reformist Party from Nis), Marjan Risticevic (People's Peasant Party) and Velimir Ilic (New Serbia).
The citizens will vote at 8.573 polling stations, RIK stated at its late-Sunday session.

RIK: TADIĆ 50,57, NIKOLIĆ 47,71 ODSTO GLASOVA
BEOGRAD
, 3. februara (Tanjug) - Prema podacima Republičke izborne komisije
(RIK), saopštenim u ponoć, predsednički kandidat DS Boris Tadić dobio
je 50,57 odsto ili 2.257.105 glasova birača, a kandidat SRS Tomislav
Nikolić 47,71 odsto, odnosno 2.129.403 glasa.
Ovi rezultati se odnose na 98,80 odsto obrađenog biračkog tela.
Predsednica
RIK-a Sonja Brkić je najavila da će naredna sednica RIK-a biti održana sutra (4. februara) popodne ili uveče.
