Dear Parents,

For number of years the Toronto District School Board provides Serbian language classes. These language programs run successfully on many locations, and as a result of your inquiries, we will be promoting another new location this September:

John Ross Roberson PS, 130 Glengrove Avenue West, M4R 1P2

The International Languages –Elementary Program is offered to elementary school age children.
Classes would run once per week, on Thursday, in the afternoon,
from 3:45-6:15 pm.

More information on registration and first day of classes will follow at the beginning of September 2007. For inquiry regarding other locations, please call our administrative office at 416-338-4100, or visit our web site at www.ileprograms.ca, and search for Serbian language.

To register your child you would need to fill in the IL-E registration form and enclose payment of $20.00 for material fee (one time payment for the whole year). Payment can be made by cash or a cheque.
If paying by cheque, please write on the back of the cheque: student’s name, day school name, language, and grade level.
A T5007 or Social Assistance Receipt is required to qualify for the reduced rate of $10.00/per student. A copy must be submitted with the registration form to support this request.

Students will receive 2.5 hours of instruction per week in the language class.
Registration for this program will begin in on September 17, and class will operate from September 24, 2009 until May/June 2010.
Students may continue to register after classes have officially begun, providing there is still space available in the class.
