As part of “The Days of Serbain Culture in Toronto” an exhibition of works of Boris Spremo, one of the biggest names of photojournalism in the World, was opened under the auspices of the Consulate General of the Republic of Serbia in Toronto on October 16, 2009.

Boris Spremo holds 294 international award and recognitions and four Oscars for Photojournalism. His most distinguishes awards are the Order of Canada and Master of Photographic Art.

Many significant people from the cultural and public life of Toronto were at the opening of the exhibition, as well as many members of the Serbian community.
